Serving the LORD with Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf in
Knockpatrick, Jamaica

It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. (Lamentations 3:22-26)

The Plattners have served on the mission field since October 2007.
The Plattners say that the most fulfilling thing about serving in missions is:
"The growth in our understanding of the transcendent power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are comfortable seeing the gospel lived out in rural, agrarian America, but we have now seen the Gospel being lived and experienced in an entirely different culture and context. There is a real joy in the journey."
