Serving the LORD with Colegio de las Americas in
Ixtlan, Mexico

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. (Philippians 3:14, 20-21)
Main Duties:
I teach English classes (ages 5 through adult) as well as support the church and help lead Bible studies on weekends.
Prayer Requests:
Pray that I would remain in a constant state of brokenness that pursues God’s presence and work in my life.
Pray that I would grow in my trust of God and His will for my life.
Pray that I would continue to learn to love and that I would abandon myself to loving God and my neighbor.
Pray that the new primary school, Colegio de las Américas, could be a witness to the students, their parents, and the community and that it would only be used for God’s glory.
Pray that God would remove the veil of deception from the hearts of the Mexican people and that they would be freed from their slavery to idolatry.
Pray for my continued Spanish language development and cultural awareness.

Todd says that the most fulfilling thing about serving in missions is:
"The most fulfilling
things about serving in missions is the constant stretching
that draws you closer to God, loving and learning to love
more fully, watching the light of Christ penetrate
impossible darkness, knowing that I have only seen a touch
of God’s love and glory and knowing that tomorrow I will see
just a little bit more."
