Serving the LORD with Casa Vida y Esperanza in
Magdalena, Mexico

One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. (Psalm 27:4)
Main Duties:
Caretaker for six children in the Sibling House
Prayer Requests:
That He would give me a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, opening the eyes of my understanding (Eph. 1:17-19), and that He would strengthen my inner man; “That Christ may dwell in [my heart] by faith; that [I], being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge...” -- that I would be filled with the fullness of God! (Eph. 3:16-19)

Stephanie has served in Mexico since 2006.
Stephanie says that the most fulfilling thing about serving in missions is:
"That faith is not a distant thing -- it is lived out each and every day. It is personally fulfilling in that while you see how Satan is deceiving so many others, at the same time you become more aware of how he has deceived you so often as well. You learn with each new situation that arises to see how faithful and true God is -- and you realize more and more how weak and inconsistent you really are! Thankfully, that line of thinking brings it all back to the cross, and what Jesus did for each of us in fulfilling our sin debt... since there’s no way we ever could. I thank God and praise Him that (though I am weak and lowly) He still loves me... and that He loves each of these children we care for and the members of the community in which we live. To see Him work in this place, and in these hearts is a joy!"
